„Unsere Herzen und Gedanken sind bei den Angehörigen und Hinterbliebenen der Opfer dieser schrecklichen Katastrophe“, zeigt sich Thomas Stoffmehl, Sprecher des Vorstands der Vorwerk Gruppe, schockiert von den Auswirkungen des Erdbebens. Von den Geschehnissen waren auch rund 2000 Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus der Vorwerk Community betroffen, die anlässlich der Vorwerk International Award Night (VIAN) nach Marrakesch gereist waren. Alle Kolleginnen und Kollegen haben das Erdbeben vor Ort erlebt, sind aber glücklicherweise unversehrt und mit dem Schrecken davongekommen und mittlerweile wohlbehalten zu Hause. Die Vorwerk Gruppe unterstützt kurzfristig mit einer Initialspende von 500.000 Euro gemeinsam mit der "Stiftung RTL - Wir helfen Kindern e.V.“ Hilfsorganisationen im Erdbebengebiet. "Our hearts and thoughts are with the relatives and families of the victims of this terrible disaster," said Thomas Stoffmehl, Speaker of the Executive Board of the Vorwerk Group, shocked by the effects of the earthquake. Some 2000 colleagues from the Vorwerk community who had travelled to Marrakech on the occasion of the Vorwerk International Award Night (VIAN) were also affected by the events. All colleagues experienced the earthquake on site, but fortunately escaped unscathed and safe at home.
